Stromboli has built a new website for National Sure Start Month 2005. The website, commissioned by the Department fro Education and Skills (DfES), includes an online database of events for National Sure Start Month and implements the Stromboli Community and Content Management System. The website allows event organisers around the country to register their event, get ideas, download leaflets and logos and order materials. It also allows parents to find events in their area. The online database will once again be used for all ordering and mailing of one and a half million promotional items, with call centre staff using a private area of the site to record telephone and postal requests.
The work was delivered within a very tight timeline and budget. The website and database are hosted by Stromboli.
